Marylebone Old Town Hall Elopement | London Wedding Photographer

Clare & David ditched their big wedding plans in Wiltshire and opted for a more intimate, family-focused ceremony at Old Marylebone Town Hall. And it was absolutely magic!

This beaut couple initially got in contact when they’d started planning their wedding in Wiltshire, but after they discussed their priorities they came back to me having decided to scale down their day and make it more intimate and personal. This is something I’m hearing more often - the wedding planning gets overwhelming and starts to feel miles away from what you had in mind. I passionately believe that some couples are MADE for eloping… Clare & David are one of these couples.

Old Marylebone Town Hall served as the perfect backdrop for this chic London wedding. As with so many amazing London Town Hall wedding venues, the historic architecture with tall white plinths & Lions at the entrance, the iconic alcoves and vast amount of light, and charming atmosphere really added to the relaxed vibe of the day. As a London Wedding Photographer, Marylebone town hall is always one of my favourites to revisit. After the beautiful ceremony the guests were met with a Red London bus to take them on a little tour of the area while Clare, David & I went to take some wedding photos around the area, before picking us up too and going to Mayfair for the dinner reception.

Clare & David's decision to elope was the perfect choice for them, utilising that time between Christmas & New Year to celebrate with their closest family & friends. It was all about love, family, and creating meaningful memories together. It was so special being their London elopement photographer, they welcomed me into their close circle for the day and the photos really reflect how warm & joyful their day was.

As a UK Wedding Photographer, I am always honoured to be a part of such special occasions. Clare & David's elopement was a reminder that there is no one-size-fits-all when it comes to weddings and making sure that you stay true to yourselves is so important!
